New Year, New Me?

We're entering not only a new year, but a new decade. The usual reaction is to decide

Wine-ing and whining.

"this year will be better, this year will be different." What is some of us don't want to change

all that much?

This year, I propose some of us make a change to our mantra. Change is good in many ways, but only if it's for yourself. Don't change for someone else, don't change to be like someone else. Make changes if you think they'll allow you to be the best version of you.

The last few months have been some of the hardest of my life, and they have changed me down to a molecular level. Mentally, physically, and everything in between. I don't plan on leaving that behind me, though. I'm going to take it with me into this new year and use it to fuel me into becoming the best possible me I can be. I'm going to end the year surrounded by the people I love. My friends that have become my family, and the love of my life.

New year, same me, but better.

Doing what I love most with the man I love most.
